The bandwidth is often used as the data transfer rate, or simply the amount of date allowed to be transferred through a network connection in a given time period. A connection with high bandwidth rate can carry the follow of the data (Images, Videos etc) smoothly. It is usually calculated in bits per second “bps” kilobits “kbps” and megabits “mbps”.
